Case Study - Guatemala

After meeting with one of SID's promoters, Doņa Gorgonia decided to join our project and convinced fifteen other women from her community to join as well. As participants in SID's project, these women received training in better agricultural practices and making simple business plans. In one year, the women were able to claim second place in SID's competition among communities in digging fertilization ditches and in building better hen house.
